Our Marrow-Gnawer list is mono-black Rats with twenty-four copies of Rat Colony. Marrow-Gnawer gives every Rat fear and taps to sacrifice a Rat and make a new Rat for each one you control.
Rat Colony gets +1/+0 for every other Rat, so the swarm becomes huge fast. Grave Pact punishes every sacrifice, Mirkwood Bats drains on every token, and Thornbite Staff turns Marrow-Gnawer into an infinite Rat engine.
How it plays
- Flood the board with Rats. Twenty-four Rat Colony, plus Pack Rat, Swarm of Rats and Piper of the Swarm, build the swarm fast.
- Multiply with Marrow-Gnawer. Each activation doubles your Rats. Lord Skitter, Sewer King and Revenge of the Rats add even more.
- Swing or drain. Rat Colonies get +1/+0 per Rat and have fear. Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm and Coat of Arms make the attack lethal, or Mirkwood Bats drains as you sacrifice.

Questions
Are these real Magic cards?
No. These are unofficial, high-quality proxy cards printed for casual play — perfect for testing a deck, playing with friends, or enjoying a full Commander deck without hunting down every expensive card. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
Can I use them in tournaments?
No. Proxies aren’t legal in sanctioned events. They’re made for kitchen-table games, Commander nights and any playgroup that allows proxies — always check with your group first.
What are the cards printed on?
330 GSM black-core cardstock with a glossy finish. The black core keeps the cards opaque, so nothing shows through from the back.
Will they fit my sleeves?
Yes. Every card is standard Magic size (63 × 88 mm), so standard sleeves such as Dragon Shield or KMC fit perfectly.

What’s the difference between Foil and Non-Foil?
Both versions contain the exact same cards, printed on the same 330 GSM black-core cardstock. Non-Foil cards have a glossy finish; Foil cards add a shiny foil layer on every card for extra flash at the table.
