Our Ur-Sphinx list is Esper Sphinxes. Eminence makes every Sphinx cost one less from the command zone, and once The Ur-Sphinx is out, every Sphinx attack mills each player and lets you cast one card from each pile free.
The deck cuts costs with Unesh, Urza's Incubator and Sapphire Medallion, draws with Consecrated Sphinx and Kindred Discovery, controls the table with counterspells and Kindred Judgment, and wins in the air or with Medomai's extra turns.
How it plays
- Ramp and cut costs. Signets, Talismans, Sapphire Medallion, Urza's Incubator and Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign stack with eminence.
- Control the table. Counterspells like Mana Drain and Counterspell, plus Propaganda and Kindred Judgment, keep the board clear while Sphinxes draw cards.
- Win in the air. Attack with a flock of Sphinxes. Medomai the Ageless takes extra turns, Magister Sphinx sets a life total to 10, and The Ur-Sphinx casts free spells.

Are these real Magic cards?
No. These are unofficial, high-quality proxy cards printed for casual play — perfect for testing a deck, playing with friends, or enjoying a full Commander deck without hunting down every expensive card. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
Can I use them in tournaments?
No. Proxies aren’t legal in sanctioned events. They’re made for kitchen-table games, Commander nights and any playgroup that allows proxies — always check with your group first.
What are the cards printed on?
330 GSM black-core cardstock with a glossy finish. The black core keeps the cards opaque, so nothing shows through from the back.
Will they fit my sleeves?
Yes. Every card is standard Magic size (63 × 88 mm), so standard sleeves such as Dragon Shield or KMC fit perfectly.

What’s the difference between Foil and Non-Foil?
Both versions contain the exact same cards, printed on the same 330 GSM black-core cardstock. Non-Foil cards have a glossy finish; Foil cards add a shiny foil layer on every card for extra flash at the table.
