Yshtola Esper Spell Drain Proxy Deck

This list is Esper spellslinger. Every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater hits each opponent for 2 and gains you 2, and big turns draw you an extra card at end step.

The deck stacks drain creatures, doubles triggers, draws with card-advantage engines, and finishes with big drain spells.

How it plays

• Ramp and draw. Mana rocks get the commander out on turn three, with a draw engine ahead of it.
• Cast big noncreature spells. Every removal spell, counterspell and draw spell at three or more mana drains the table, and lifegain payoffs turn the life into more damage.
• Finish with a drain. Big drain spells and drain engines close the game once everyone is low.

Bracket 4 (Optimized). It runs 4 Game Changers (Bolas's Citadel; Fierce Guardianship; Rhystic Study; Smothering Tithe), so it hits harder than most casual decks. Check with your pod before you sit down.
