Bracket 3 · Our Trostani decklist · Tokens
Our Trostani list is Selesnya tokens and life gain. Trostani gains you life equal to each creature's toughness as it enters, and taps to populate, copying your best creature token.
The deck makes big tokens with Armada Wurm and Crested Sunmare, doubles them with Doubling Season and Anointed Procession, populates them every turn with Growing Ranks and Song of the Worldsoul, and wins with Aetherflux Reservoir, Halo Fountain or a huge attack.

01The Commander
Trostani, Selesnya's Voice is a four-mana 2/5. Whenever another creature you control enters, you gain life equal to its toughness.
For {1}{G}{W} and a tap, Trostani populates: you create a copy of a creature token you control. Copying a 5/5 Wurm or Horse gains 5 life too.
Every token is life, and life feeds Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, Crested Sunmare and Aetherflux Reservoir.
02How This Deck Wins
- 1
Make big tokens
Armada Wurm, Crested Sunmare and Resplendent Angel make 4/4 and 5/5 tokens worth copying.
- 2
Populate and double
Trostani, Growing Ranks and Song of the Worldsoul populate. Doubling Season, Parallel Lives and Mondrak, Glory Dominus double every token.
- 3
Gain life and win
Each token gains life. Nykthos Paragon and Archangel of Thune grow the team, and Aetherflux Reservoir or Halo Fountain wins.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice + Seedborn Muse
Trostani populates on every player's turn, gaining life each time.
Archangel of Thune + Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
Each token that enters gains life, and each gain puts a counter on every creature.
Phyrexian Processor + Doubling Season
Two big Minion tokens a turn, and Trostani gains their toughness in life.
10How to Play
Opening hand
Keep hands with two or three lands, a dork and a token maker. Trostani on turn three or four with a token to copy is ideal.
Early gameturns 1-3
Play dorks like Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise, and cheap life gain like Soul Warden.
Mid gameturns 4-7
Cast Trostani and a big token maker like Armada Wurm. Populate every turn.
Late gameturn 8+
Double with Doubling Season, pump with Nykthos Paragon, and win with Aetherflux Reservoir or a huge attack.
Tips
- Populate copies only creature tokens, so make a big one first.
- Trostani gains life for each token, so doublers double the life too.
- Hour of Reckoning is one-sided for a token deck.
- Halo Fountain wins with fifteen tapped creatures, so attack first.
Common mistakes
- Populating small tokens when a big one is available.
- Overextending tokens into an exile wipe.
- Paying too much life to Phyrexian Processor without Trostani out.
- Forgetting Trostani's populate needs her to tap.
Watch out for
- Board wipes, especially exile.
- Effects that stop life gain.
- Removal on Trostani.
- Fliers your ground tokens can't block.
11Bracket and Rule 0
Our list runs 2 Game Changers (Aura Shards, Seedborn Muse), within the Bracket 3 limit of three.
The deck wins with a token army or Aetherflux Reservoir, with no two-card infinite combos.
