Bracket 3 · Our Rin and Seri decklist
Our Rin and Seri list is Naya Cats and Dogs. Every Dog spell makes a 1/1 Cat, every Cat spell makes a 1/1 Dog, and Rin and Seri taps to deal damage equal to your Dogs and gain life equal to your Cats.
The deck doubles tokens with Doubling Season and Anointed Procession, pumps Cats with King of the Pride and Arahbo, counts as every type with Maskwood Nexus and changelings, and closes with Jetmir or Mirror Entity.

01The Commander
Rin and Seri, Inseparable is a four-mana 4/4 Dog Cat. Whenever you cast a Dog spell, create a 1/1 green Cat. Whenever you cast a Cat spell, create a 1/1 white Dog.
For {R}{G}{W} and a tap, Rin and Seri deals damage to any target equal to your Dogs and you gain life equal to your Cats.
Changelings like Mirror Entity and Taurean Mauler are both Cat and Dog, so they make both tokens. Maskwood Nexus makes every creature spell both too.
02How This Deck Wins
- 1
Cast Cats and Dogs
Every Cat makes a Dog and every Dog makes a Cat. Helpful Hunter, Spirited Companion and Loyal Warhound are cheap and draw or ramp.
- 2
Double and pump
Doubling Season, Anointed Procession and Parallel Lives double tokens, and King of the Pride, Arahbo, the First Fang and Pack Leader pump them.
- 3
Finish the table
Rin and Seri ping for your Dog count, Jetmir, Nexus of Revels gives double strike, and Impact Tremors or Warleader's Call drain as tokens enter.

Rin and Seri, Inseparable + Doubling Season
Each Cat or Dog spell makes two tokens of the other type.

10How to Play
Opening hand
Keep hands with two or three lands, cheap Cats or Dogs and ramp. Rin and Seri on turn four with cheap creatures after is ideal.
Early gameturns 1-3
Play Helpful Hunter, Spirited Companion and Ocelot Pride.
Mid gameturns 4-7
Cast Rin and Seri, then a Cat or Dog every turn for tokens. Add a doubler or King of the Pride.
Late gameturn 8+
Ping with Rin and Seri, swing with Jetmir, Nexus of Revels or Mirror Entity, and protect with Akroma's Will.
Tips
- Rin and Seri triggers on cast, so countered creatures still make tokens.
- Changelings trigger both abilities.
- Rin and Seri's tokens trigger Cathars' Crusade and Impact Tremors.
- Jinnie Fay can turn any tokens into 2/2 hasty Cats or 3/1 Dogs.
Common mistakes
- Overextending tokens into a wipe.
- Forgetting Rin and Seri's ping costs {R}{G}{W}.
- Using Skullclamp on lords.
- Casting creatures before Rin and Seri when you could wait.
Watch out for
- Board wipes.
- Effects that stop tokens.
- Removal on Rin and Seri.
- Fliers your ground army can't block.
11Bracket and Rule 0
