Bracket 3 · Our Kotis, the Fangkeeper decklist · Voltron
Our Kotis list is Sultai Voltron. Kotis is indestructible, and every time Kotis hits a player, you exile that many cards from their library and cast the cheap ones for free.
The deck suits Kotis up with Blackblade Reforged, Leyline Axe and Inquisitor's Flail, makes Kotis unblockable with Aqueous Form and Brotherhood Regalia, and doubles the free spells with Felix Five-Boots.

01The Commander
Kotis, the Fangkeeper is a four-mana indestructible 2/1 Zombie Warrior.
Whenever Kotis deals combat damage to a player, exile the top X cards of their library, where X is the damage dealt. You may cast any number of spells with mana value X or less from among them without paying their mana costs.
Bigger hits mean more cards and bigger free spells. With double strike, Kotis triggers twice, and the second hit is usually bigger.
02How This Deck Wins
- 1
Ramp and cast Kotis
Llanowar Elves, Birds of Paradise and Delighted Halfling get Kotis out on turn three.
- 2
Suit up and get through
Blackblade Reforged, Rancor and Strong Back make Kotis huge, while Aqueous Form and Brotherhood Regalia make Kotis unblockable.
- 3
Cast their spells
Each hit exiles opponents' cards for free spells, and Felix Five-Boots doubles the trigger.

10How to Play
Opening hand
Keep hands with three lands or two lands and a mana creature, plus an Aura or Equipment.
Early gameturns 1-3
Play mana creatures and cast Kotis on turn three or four.
Mid gameturns 4-7
Add Aqueous Form or Brotherhood Regalia, then a damage booster like Blackblade Reforged.
Late gameturn 8+
Swing with double strike or Inquisitor's Flail and cast your opponents' best spells for free.
Tips
- Kotis can cast spells only with mana value X or less, where X is the damage dealt.
- With double strike, each damage step is a separate trigger.
- Lands exiled by Kotis can't be played, only spells cast.
- Felix doubles Kotis's trigger, but each trigger exiles separate cards.
Common mistakes
- Equipping Kotis without a way past blockers.
- Forgetting indestructible doesn't stop exile or -X/-X.
- Using Berserk without a plan, since Kotis survives the destroy but other creatures don't.
- Overloading Kotis with Auras into a bounce spell.
Watch out for
- Exile and bounce removal.
- Edicts that make you sacrifice.
- Big blockers with reach or flying.
- Pillowfort effects.
